EYE is a group of artists who present
live public art performances, creating
collaborative, improvisational artworks.
They arrive at each performance with
no pre-conceived plans, and the results
of each collaboration are fresh and new.

The four members of EYE are a diverse
group of visual artists with varied back-
grounds and artistic strengths. They
often invite guest artists to further insure
a fresh and idiosyncratic dynamic for
each performance.

Marcy B. Freedman
is an artist and art
historian whose paintings, collages, photo-
graphs, and videos have appeared in more
than 300 exhibitions around the country.
She now specializes in performance art,
while also working as an independent
curator and freelance lecturer.

Richard Rosenbaum
studied semiotics
and fine arts as an undergraduate. He has
forged a career in film and video editing and
is the winner of numerous awards in his field.

Alexandra Rutsch Brock
in addition
to teaching art at New Rochelle High
School since 1991, is also an artist and
independent curator.

Tom Smith
is the founder and principal
designer of Tom Smith Design. Tom’s graphic
design work informs his personal explorations
of painting and collage. His artworks hang in
numerous private collections.
